We know the truth about big-headed dogs.
When we started looking for our first Rottweiler, someone told us we’d be responsible for the death of our family. That’s how people see these dogs: mean, dangerous, something to cross the street to avoid.
So we brought Juno home anyway.
She became the best-behaved dog we’ve ever had, and one of the smartest. She also turned out to be a 100-pound lap dog who will lean her whole body on you just to be close.
That’s the Rottweiler most people never get to meet.
Juno made us fall so hard for the breed that we brought home Atlas. He gave us only ten months before kidney disease took him, and it broke our hearts. But it didn’t change what we knew. Today Apollo is following right in Juno’s pawprints: sharp, sweet, and completely ridiculous.
Why we exist
Loyal Blockhead Co. exists to celebrate the truth about misjudged big dogs, so that the people who love them never feel alone in what they know.
If you live with one of these dogs, you’ve been there: the stranger who pulls their kid closer, the landlord who says no, the “aren’t you worried?” at the vet. You know what they don’t. Your “scary” dog sleeps upside down, snores like a chainsaw, and thinks the vacuum is a personal enemy.
Our shirts are for you. They’re a way to wear what you already know, to laugh at the goofball you share your couch with, and maybe to change someone’s mind when they ask about it.

We’re starting with the breed that started it all for us. Over time we’ll welcome more blockheads into the family: the big, loyal, misunderstood dogs who deserve better than their reputation.
